I just viewed John McCain at a town meeting. He still doesn’t really get it with regards to what people outside the beltway feel. He wants to work with Democrats on a Health Care Bill, believes the President respects our Constitution, and is still being a political opportunist that “heals” and “reaches across the aisle”. Let the Democrats live and die with what they just tried to stuff down our throats in an attempt to turn us into a compliant, needy, oppressed bunch of citizens that rely on Government for our very lives! You’ll give them cover for something much bigger. YOU of all people should be able to understand what is really going on. When you legitimize a government takeover of healthcare by even recognizing it as American… you’re being used. You lost the Presidency because you thought a civil discourse was better. Stop It! You wouldn’t offer up one of your soldiers as a prisoner to free yourself, wouldn’t put yourself and your own personal needs ahead of your men so why do you think that you can do it now that you’re a Senator? Don’t let them get one friggin foot in the door of controlling any type of Health Care, because our liberties, that you fought so valiantly for, are in peril. Remember a time when you weren’t economically well off, when you enjoyed a cigarette or a beer, fatty food, weren’t quite as important as you are now and had to wait for medical care and so on. I’m telling you that you have been indoctrinated into thinking that Washington can solve our problems when in reality it is incompetent to do so. Protect our Republic and stop compromising on these issues… please!
