As of August 10th, this email’s status as rumor was undetermined on Snopes. However, within the forums one poster states that it checks out and nobody disagrees or is providing evidence to the contrary. Therefore, I am prepared to state this is a real email from National Guard Aviator Jim Hill. As I read it, I felt myself cheering this guy on. If I wasn’t in my damn cubicle, I would have did a victory dance accompanied by my horrible rendition of Neil Diamond’s “America”. Read it.
Many saw Barbara Boxer as she admonished a brigadier general because he addressed her as “ma’am” and not “Senator” before a Senate hearing. This letter is from a National Guard aviator and Captain for Alaska Airlines. I wonder what he would have said if he was really angry.
Jim Hill’s Letter to Barbara Boxer:
Dear Senator Boxer:
You were so right on when you scolded the general on TV for using the term, “ma’am,” instead of “Senator”. After all, in the military, “ma’am” is a term of respect when addressing a female of superior rank or position. The general was totally wrong. You are not a person of superior rank or position. You are a member of one of the world’s most corrupt organizations, the U.S. Senate, equaled only by the U.S. House of Representatives.
Congress is a cesspool of liars, thieves, inside traders, traitors, drunks (one who killed a staffer, yet is still revered), criminals, and other low level swine who, as individuals (not all, but many), will do anything to enhance their lives, fortunes and power, all at the expense of the People of the United States and its Constitution, in order to be continually re-elected. Many democrats even want American troops killed by releasing photographs. How many of you could honestly say, “We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor”? None? One? Two?
Your reaction to the general shows several things. First is your abysmal ignorance of all things military. Your treatment of the general shows you to be an elitist of the worst kind. When the general entered the military (as most of us who served) he wrote the government a blank check, offering his life to protect your derriere, now safely and comfortably ensconced in a 20 thousand dollar leather chair, paid for by the general’s taxes. You repaid him for this by humiliating him in front of millions.
Second is your puerile character, lack of sophistication, and arrogance which borders on the hubristic. This display of brattish behavior shows you to be a virago, termagant, harridan, nag, scold or shrew, unfit for your position, regardless of the support of the unwashed, uneducated masses who have made California into the laughing stock of the nation.
What I am writing, Senator, are the same thoughts countless millions of Americans have toward Congress, but who lack the energy, ability or time to convey them. Under the democrats, some don’t even have the 44 cents to buy the stamp. Regardless of their thoughts, most realize that politicians are pretty much the same, and will vote for the one who will bring home the most bacon, even if they do consider how corrupt that person is. Lord Acton (1834 – 1902) so aptly charged, “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Unbeknown to you and your colleagues, “Mr. Power” has had his way with all of you, and we are all the worse for it.
Finally Senator, I, too, have a title. It is “Right Wing Extremist Potential Terrorist Threat.” It is not of my choosing, but was given to me by your Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. And you were offended by “ma’am”?

Only in America can you have eight kids, free medical, free food stamps, yet drive a nice care, dress

Captain Hill is a shining example of the character, courage, intelligence, no nonsense traits, and someone who has his or her priorities in order… like most of our military. I hate to say it sir but Barbara Boxer has illustrated that she doesn’t have enough little gray cells to understand your letter, doesn’t have the intestinal fortitude to reflect upon it, won’t have the common sense to re-evaluate her priorities, doesn’t have the character and courage to step out of her protective bubble of admirers and lemmings to admit she even made a mistake. She will more than likely project her own traits onto you and those of us that agree with you (every damn word) and will dismiss you a racist, bigot, facist, or other type of demeaning category (everyone in her world must be in some type of category). She is incapable of recognizing that there is a category of people that transcends the color of one’s skin, the amount of testosterone in one’s biological make-up, the ethnic heritage or place of birth of our citizens… a true American Patriot that respects and loves our Constitutional Republic and recognizes the greatness of her (our country) because of her citizens and their unleashed potential in our great nation of laws and liberty.
Please, please, please find this man and interview him on Fox News….love, love, love it. Everyone needs to come to DC for the Tea Party on September 12th!!! We need term limits on Congress and the repeal of their lifetime pension. Where else can you work four years in some instances and receive a lifetime pension? If that is the case, I would like a pension for my tour in the Marines! Give ‘em hell Michelle – love you!!!

How many of you folks actually think that “Barbara” actually read that letter. It’s a great letter what with expressing everyone’s pent up frustrations and it makes us all feel real good… but… it never even made it to its destination to have any affect. C’mon now… you gotta’ know that!
“Babs”? “Hag”? “Shrew”? “Nag” “Harridan”? I don’t remember who Jim Hill is but I now know he’s a sexist bonehead. Show some respect, Jim. There is not a requirement to be familiar with “all things military” to have credibility in this country. In the military, “ma’am” is a sign of respect, but it isn’t in the Senate. And respect is about knowing whom you’re talking to.
Civilians run the military in the United States – always have and hopefully always will. Brigadier General Walsh knows that and you don’t get to be a general by having thin skin. I’m sure General Walsh is man enough to take a scolding from a mere woman. But I I bet couldn’t say the same for you. Let’s see if you can take it: Jim, you’re an ass.
If you’re so enamored of the military, bully for you. Maybe you should re-enlist.

California is not the laughing stock of the nation. What rat hole did you pull that out of? It has the biggest economy in the country, in spite of its broken electoral system. And it’s being run by a REPUBLICAN governor. And exactly how does Janet Napolitano fit into this diatribe? Interesting that the only two people you pick on here are women. Scared of the big boys, Jim?
Jim, a little anger at the folks in Washington is absolutely justified these days. I’m sure you’re frustrated that the Republicans continue to block any legitimate health care reform. But revealing yourself as a sexist extremist does nothing to take back Capitol Hill for the people. Next time you go on an anger bender, consider reading up on your subject first.
I think your vituperative reaction to Senator Boxer’s comments are indicative of a deeper issue for you. Perhaps a little self-reflection might go a long way. Think about it.

Stephanie, the fact that you actually think that California’s economy should be a model for our nation (despite their $500 billion debt) coupled with your apparent support for the democrats’ agenda helps to explain how our country has arrived at its current position.
And, if you think that people are angry because the “Republicans continue to block any legitimate health care reform”, then there is no point in debating the issue further, you apparently are unable to understand the problems we face.

I come from Canada – single payer. My wife was born in Britain – public option. Canadian premier comes to US for heart surgery to replace a valve. I Canada he would have required a full on cracking on the sternum, in the U.S. they came in through his armpit. In Britain, the breast cancer saving drug was denied to millions on the public plan by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) – a real cruel acronym if ever one existed.

In Canada, an entire family of mine had the following experience:
1. Routine gall bladder surgery – nicked artery – almost bled to death
2. Death of a relative when the doctor performing her surgery refused to keep her on medication for her liver because “it was not his job”.
3. Wrong prescription given to the wife of the person referenced in item 1. It would have killed her.
Let’s see – Kennedy had brain cancer and he went to…hmmm….Britain? No. Germany? No. Canada? No. Mexico? No. China? No. Oh, that’s right – he stayed here in America. I wonder why?
And Clinton with his stent placement? America. Why, because Canada is having major issues with getting enough training and drug-eluting stents into Canada and the waiting is actually costing them more as patients forced to wait while having ischemic blockage to their heart muscle cost more to care for if the issue is not addressed immediately. I should know – check out lumponablog.com – that’s me. I have 25 stents that I would not get under Obama’s plan because it would cost too much. They would just give me a pill and let me pass on the next world which, as long as Obmabi never makes it there, would probably not be so bad. So single-payer sucks and the public option sucks as I can PERSONALLY attest to because I have relatives under each system. If you have a cold, it’s great. But any major disease and you are pretty much screwed.
So yes, democrat with a d. The democrats want to shove a system down our throats that is, in effect, going to kill us and that none of us wants. So f**k them.
